The Monterey Bay Aquarium

The kids were suprised by a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium by Grandma L. Say to Hello to Cousin ET!
Just waiting for the tide pool demonstration to rush over head.

More Anticipation!
We have a few kids cameras now and they enjoyed taking their own photos.

We enjoyed turning the star fish over and watching them turn themselves over. Mean... but fun to watch!

Dragon fish. One of the kids favorites!

Dressing up as octopus.

Geat views outside with wonderful ocean breeze kissing our faces!

To see what we can we see..... The other side of the bay.

Being hands on... Hallmark of a good museum or other nature experience.

Bat Ray... We touched Bat Ray Boogers! Their skin is like that of sharks but it is covered in a mucous that makes it slippery and smooth.... Boogers all over!

There is nothing like the experience of picking up something living and gently exploring it's texture and soul.

Sea otters enjoing the sun was a nice highlight for the kids.

My biggest memories is Seth throwing up right as we got to the parking. All over the inside of the van. As I state earlier he took a nap on the floor (with a coat to lay on) of the restaurant at lunch. But afterwards he seemed to be fine. SO something was just bothering his little tummy.
I went to Walgreens to buy some ibuprofen and saw a umbrella stroller and I picked it up. Did fine the rest of the day... though we may have spread some germs. Bad Taboo... I know...please don't hate us for it! =)
